Parcours éclair pour ces quatre jeunes rockers dans le vent !
Doués d’une énergie éclatante, Santa, Line, Puss et Zak ont tout juste 20 ans et déjà leur groupe Hyphen Hyphen rafle la mise !
C’est que les quatre vibrions sont bien décidés «à apporter du sang neuf dans le monde chloroformé du rock’n’ roll» et cela s’entend : leur premier EP masterisé au studio Exchange à Londres est tonitruant et fait résonner longtemps encore dans nos oreilles le groove cinglant des cinq titres de Chewbacca, I’am your mother…
Sans complexe Hyphen Hyphen entrecroise la flamme méditerranéenne et l’électro-rock britannique dans un style qui décoiffe, avec une vraie fraicheur dans le ton, le son et l’énergie. Nourrie à la source de Talking Heads, Phoenix, Klaxons ou Late of The Pier, l’ex bande de lycéens niçois distille un disco punk régénéré au ton décalé qui sied à leur inventivité (leur vidéo clip sur You tube fait un carton !).
De quoi bluffer tout le monde, à commencer par le directeur du Théâtre Lino Ventura de Nice, Romain Vigna, qui les a pris sous son aile et les propulse sur les scènes des festivals, mais pas seulement : La Flèche d’or à Paris, Cipières Rock, Prom’s party et Festival Crossover à Nice, Plage de rock à St Tropez, Marsatac festival à Marseille, Omega live à Toulon pour n’en citer que quelques-uns…
Car leur actualité brûlante ne s’arrête pas là ! Un nouvel EP enregistré en septembre au studio Phantom à Vallauris sera dans les bacs en février 2012.
C’est sûr, on n’a pas fini de parler d’eux…
It’s been a fast route for these four young trendy rockers !
Gifted with a sensational energy, Santa, Line, Puss and Zak are hardly 20 years old and their group Hyphen Hyphen already swipes the stake !
These four vibrios have really decided "to bring some new blood in the apathetic world of rock and roll" and it has been working : their first recorded EP at the Exchange studio in London is booming and the five titles of Chewbacca, I'am your mother… are still playing in our ears.
Without complex Hyphen Hyphen mixes the Mediterranean flame and the British electro music-rock in a style which ruffles the hair, with a real new style in the tone, the sound and the energy.
Inspired by the Talking Heads, Phoenix, Horns or Late of The Pier, the Nice high school student ex band references a regenerated off the beaten path punk disco that works with their creativity (their video clip on You tube is a hit !).
To many people’s amazement, the director of the Theater Lino Ventura in Nice, Romain Vigna, took them under his wing and propelled them on festivals stages :

A new recorded EP in September at the Phantom studio in Vallauris will be for sale in February, 2012. It is certain that we will not stop hearing about them.
